Doing reporting that matters
As a student reporter, I strive to do community-based journalism that focuses on bringing accountability and presents stories that usually go untold. That has been my mission since I started my career at The Fairfield Mirror in September 2022, and it has followed me in my experiences with The Rearview and NBC New York.
Throughout my reporting, I have demonstrated a strong ability to find original story ideas, pivot story angles, and communicate and report in both English and Spanish.
I have also devoted my journalistic passion to in-depth, local investigative reporting, believing that journalists have a greater responsibility to hold those in power accountable.
Journalism is not dead; it needs people eager to bring new stories and perspectives to its audience.
